First post is a paddle from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale.
We started out at Horseshoe Bay. Inflating the boats on a small dock not far from the ferry terminal.
Matt in a Solar. Cedric and I in the Sunny,
Took a break around the halfway point on a dock on Gambier Island.
At this point the skeg on the Sunny came off. We made it through okay with the person in the back seat using a paddle like a rudder and doing j-strokes with a half-paddle.
As we approached the Langdale ferry terminal, the Queen of Surrey overtook us.
We hurried to the dock and barely made it on the ferry as it departed back towards Horseshoe Bay.
Matt and Cedric took careful watch of our gear as we headed back.
